DZEC-TV is a UHF television station owned by Eagle Broadcasting Corporation. It is commonly known as Net 25. This station studios & transmitter are located at #882 Maligaya Bldg. II, EDSA, Quezon City with transmitter at 25 Central Ave., New Era, Quezon City.
It is on Channel 25 on terrestrial TV and is carried by major cable operators in the country led by SkyCable and Global Destiny Cable. NET 25 reaches TV audiences on the East Coast, United States and Hawaii and the whole of Asia including Japan, Hong Kong, Taiwan, China as well as Australia.
Studio 23 is a Filipino television network owned by the AMCARA Broadcasting Network. The network is named for its flagship station in Metro Manila, DWAC-TV, which is carried on UHF channel 23. The network is a sister network to the main ABS–CBN Corporation, airing programming aimed towards young adults, such as North American imports and other English language programming, and original Filipino programming aimed at the demographic as well, such as supplemental programming for ABS-CBN programs. This station studios are located at 3/F ABS-CBN Broadcast Center, Sgt. Esguerra Ave., Mother Ignacia St., Diliman, Quezon City.
DZOE-TV, channel 11, is a station owned by ZOE Broadcasting Network and currently is the flagship station of Philippine television network Q. The station is currently operated and co-owned by GMA Network. Its studios are located at the GMA Network Center at the corner of Timog Avenue and Epifanio de los Santos Avenue in Quezon City.
Background
On November 2005, GMA Network used the channel designation of Citynet Television to broadcast their new VHF network Q after the company and ZOE Broadcasting Network entered to an agreement for GMA Network leasing the entire TV airtime block of Channel 11 (DZOE-TV) in exchange of an upgrading the facilities of ZOE .
DZKB-TV, channel 9, is the flagship station of Philippine television network Radio Philippines Network.[citation needed] Its studios are located at Broadcast City, Old Balara, Capitol Hills, Diliman, Quezon City, with its transmitter situated along Panay Avenue, Quezon City.
Partnership with Solar Entertainment
Currently, the station had a major revamp in their primetime lineup as a result of its tie-in with Solar Entertainment Corporation. On December 24, 2007, Tonypet Albano (undersecretary and executive director of Malacañang’s Office of Political Coalition Affairs and Deputy Spokesperson of TEAM Unity) was appointed chairman of Radio Philippines Network (RPN) 9 (replacing Education Undersecretary Mona Valisno, incumbent Presidential Assistant for Education). Undersecretary Robert Rivera was appointed director of the board, while RPN-9's president and chief executive officer is former senator Orlando Mercado.
On January 1, 2008, Solar Entertainment-owned C/S aired on this station.
On November 29, 2009, DZKB-TV was reformatted and came to be known as Solar TV-9.
