Cinema One is the tagalog movie channel of ABS-CBN. It is accessible through Direct-To-Home cable subscription service (exclusive only to SkyCable), through the internet (ABS-CBNNow! service) and worldwide (The Filipino Channel).
History
Launched in May 2001, Cinema One is a 24-hour Filipino movie channel created for lovers of Tagalog movies, with titles ranging from classics to recent blockbusters and award-winning films. Its film inventory covers all genres from romance, drama, comedy, action, horror and fantasy films produced by the country’s top movie outfits. Local productions such as Inside The Cinema with Boy Abunda and the weekly Cinemanews are also shown to cater to viewers’ craving for Philippine showbiz updates and celebrity profiles.
The channel started in 1994 when i-Channel merged with Classic 21 to form Sky 1, which was launched with morning schedules containing public affairs, business and mostly Filipino movies. Seeing audience growth in the movies being shown, in 1998, Sky 1 became Pinoy Blockbuster Channel wherein programming was reformatted to show series of movies produced by local productions. Supported by its large and growing avid viewers, in May 2001 Pinoy Blockbuster became Cinema One, this time showing not only local movies but foreign films as well.
As Cinema One, the channel grew its subscriber base and immediately gained acceptance. For the past 10 years, it has stayed in the No. 1 spot as the most watched cable channel in the country dominating all other foreign and local cable channels. As the country's number one cable channel, Cinema One airs all the movies popular and award-winning movies from the library of Star Cinema, Regal Entertainment, Viva Films, Seiko Films, RVQ, FPJ, LVN and others. In 2005, the channel ventured into original digital movie productions under its annual Cinema One Originals project to showcase the talents and diverse voices of the local independent cinema. Cinema One Originals has produced award-winning titles such as Confessional, Huling Balyan ng Buhi, Rome & Juliet, Tambolista, Yanggaw, Sa North Diversion Road, Imburnal, Dose, Altar and others.
As part of ABS-CBN’s global marketing strategy, Cinema One Global was launched last May 2004, to reach out and give quality entertainment to the Filipino communities in North America, the Middle East, Europe, and Asia-Pacific.
The new face of Cinema One with the tagline, “Ang Buhay Natin, Parang Sine”, reinforces its affinity with the movie-loving audience who tune in to experience larger than life entertainment on the small screen.
DZRH (666 kHz Metro Manila) is a radio station in Metro Manila owned and operated by the Manila Broadcasting Company. The station's studio is located at CCP Complex in Pasay, Philippines, while the Transmitter is located at Brgy. Malanday, Valenzuela.
At present, DZRH is considered as one of the top stations in the AM band in Metro Manila and is recognized as the oldest radio station in the Philippines. It now broadcasts nationwide thru an array of relay stations, each with its own frequency, re-broadcasting the national feed from satellite.
DZRH can also be heard on the internet. Through these websites, the station has become a pioneer in the use of various interactive features - a live chatroom where listeners can feed comments to the station in real-time, two modes of VOIP that can be used to call the station and participate in open-line discussions, and an online discussion forum called "Damdaming Bayan Online". A sizeable number of listeners from all the over the globe now make up the DZRH Global Community, which is maintaining the listener website as a means of interconnecting, and somehow taking part in the preservation of the Filipino culture.
Though it is the oldest radio station in the Philippines, DZRH was not the first. The Philippines first radio station was the now defunct, KZKZ, which began broadcasting from Manila in 1922.
This is a list of relay stations that carry the same signal as the flagship station DZRH in Manila. When a listener travels away from Manila and wants to listen, he has only to tune in to the frequency in the location nearest to where he is. DZRH is already on television in over 300 Cable Operators in the Philippines as RHTV (DZRH Television).
DZMM TeleRadyo (TeleRadyo is a portmonteau of telebisyon and radyo, Filipino words meaning television and radio, respectively) is a cable TV channel broadcasting a simulcast of ABS-CBN's flagship AM radio station DZMM, as well as a live video feed of the radio booth itself. As a result, viewers can hear DZMM 630, and see the people currently in the studio speaking live on air.
It is carried on most cable and satellite systems in the country. Video footage of TV programmes simulcasted on the radio station can are also seen. However, radio shows that have been pre-recorded will be supplemented with animated title cards instead of the studio scenes. Content during commercial breaks are separate from the radio feed - TeleRadyo features video ads promoting the station rather than products by various advertisers.

Pinoy Big Brother: Teen Edition is a special edition of Pinoy Big Brother which feature adolescents aged 16 to 19 years old (although celebrities who fall on the said ages compete in the Celebrity Edition). It is one of only two teen-oriented Big Brother versions and the only one with multiple seasons. The other teen show, the United Kingdom's Teen Big Brother, was a short, pre-recorded, one-shot edition, unlike this Teen Edition's real-time, episodic nature.
The adolescents chosen for the Teen Edition, as already mentioned, are aged 16 to 19 (18 in the first Teen Edition and 14-17 for the third one, although this rule was slightly breached; see below) and are from different cities in the Philippines, sometimes even from certain overseas countries with sizable Filipino communities. Other factors are disregarded; in-school and out-of-school youths, natural-born Filipinos and adolescents with a mixture of Filipino and foreign blood, those with intact and broken families, and even teenage single parents may be eligible as long one passes the age requirement and has a background worth exploring during the edition's run.
This edition is usually done in the Philippine "summer" months of late March to early June. During this time, temperatures in the country are at their highest and most students are out of school; a regular school year in the Philippines runs from June of one year to March of the next.
The House used in this edition is the same one used in both regular and Celebrity editions. However, it is modified with colors, designs, and furniture to generally suit the tastes of its teenage housemates. These changes are noticeable as soon as at least one housemate enters the House.
This edition has its own theme song called Kabataang Pinoy ("Filipino Youth"), which describes the Filipino youth and encourages them to face challenges ahead of them. This song is originally performed by the Pinoy rock band Itchyworms.
A third season was announced, with auditions already being taken place. It was announced that it would start airing during summer 2010.

Ang Dating Daan (Tagalog for "The Old Path") is a religious radio and television program in the Philippines produced by the Members Church of God International and hosted by Brother Eli Soriano.
Background
The program started in 1980 on radio then in 1983 on television as a 3-minute block timer on Intercontinental Broadcasting Corporation with a shoe-string budget.[citation needed] The program currently airs live via satellite through the facilities of UHF Channel UN Television and various radio stations such as DZXL-RMN, DZRH and 100 Radyo Natin FM Stations. While mainly broadcasting in Filipino, some English language elements were added for foreign viewers, including "Truth in Focus”, "Biblically Speaking”, "How Authentic the Bible is”, and "Bible Guide”. It also features the use of multi-lingual and multi-dialectic translations of the Bible.
Ang Dating Daan denies several doctrines such as the Trinity [1] and salvation by grace alone. The program frequently criticizes various denominations for their doctrines, practices and what it says are false teachings, including the Catholic Church, Pentecostal Denominations, Jehovah's Witnesses, Seventh-day Adventist Church, The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints and especially the Iglesia ni Cristo, (Church of Christ founded by Felix Manalo), a Philippine-based religion. In response, Iglesia ni Cristo created a counter program, Ang Tamang Daan ("The True Path") answering Soriano's allegations on the show.
